LACRE (Latin American Conference on Residency Education) puede ser considerado como un foro para las Américas, orientado a quienes estén involucrados en el proceso de formación de residentes. El objetivo principal es ofrecer un espacio para compartir ideas, desafíos, innovaciones y experiencias en entrenamiento avanzado. El LACRE está dirigido a todos los interesados en los procesos de enseñanza, aprendizaje y evaluación de residentes en Latinoamérica.

General information

The Latin American Conference on Residency Education (LACRE) is the largest medical education event in Latin America.

It is an opportunity for leaders in resident education to learn from experts and fellow participants, discuss relevant topics, and interact with peers.

 

Various activities will be held during the three days of the conference, including plenary sessions, symposiums, debates, 24 interactive workshops and more than 120 presentations of scientific work.

 

Participants will be able to support initiatives in resident education, understand the relationship between education, quality, equity and security in patient care, and promote social responsibility in training institutions.

 

LACRE conference brings together around 500 attendees from Latin America and other regions to share ideas, challenges, innovations and advanced training in postgraduate medical education.

 

This conference is organized by the Catholic University of Chile and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
