LACRE (Latin American Conference on Residency Education) puede ser considerado como un foro para las Américas, orientado a quienes estén involucrados en el proceso de formación de residentes. El objetivo principal es ofrecer un espacio para compartir ideas, desafíos, innovaciones y experiencias en entrenamiento avanzado. Dra. Lara Cook (Canadá), MD, MSc, FRCPC

Dr. Lara Cooke is a neurologist and medical educator who has been working with the Royal College since 2009. Over the first ten years of her career, she has been active across the continuum of medical education from undergraduate to continuing medical education.

She has been involved with faculty development on the teaching and assessment of learners of all levels for more than a decade and has received national and international awards for her work in education. She has presented on competency-based medical education and resident education and assessment across Canada and overseas. Her areas of interest include empathy in medical education, communication skills, health advocacy, feedback, and physician learning.
